Road Report Archives - Cincinnati

We must admit - it’s been two weeks on the road now and we’re getting a little homesick.  So we dive back into the vault to give you a little sense of why:  this was our swing through hometown, Cincinnati and our respective boyhood homesteads on our way out here.

Road Report Archives - Columbus

Thursday night’s action on the track includes the Men’s 1500m and Steeple.  So, we decided to dip into our archives and take a look back at one of our stops on the road last week, in which we visited with competitors in those events — Jeff See and Brian Olinger — at their place of employment: Second Sole, a running specialty store outside of Columbus.

[ Ed. note: both Brian and Jeff advanced in their prelims on Thursday. ]

Let me guess.  When people ask What kind of music do you like? you say Everything.  Right?

Wrong.  You like Near Recordings even if you don’t know it yet.  Near Recordings is a NJ-based label who is hooking us up with some great music that you will hear throughout the project.  To preview some of that work, visit  www.myspace.com/nearstudios or http://www.myspace.com/churchills and check out The Churchills top friends.

So in the next two weeks or so, feel free to pre-emptively send us gifts to thanks us for the multiple eargasms you experience listening to Near artists such as Holtz, Rhys and The Ruling Party… as well as many other great independent acts.
